James is the son of film producer, Antony Darnborough and nephew of film score composer, Muir Mathieson. He started acting from an early age at Stowe School in England. Since moving to Los Angeles, he has appeared in over 25 film and TV projects, including HBO's Perry Mason and Rebel Moon directed by Zack Snyder.
